I am a talented communicator, creative and agile concept artist, and an eager student in new environments and new challenges. I pride myself on my ability to work within a team - cooperating with leads, coworkers, and team members across disciplines to help my team succeed. I am passionate about artistically driven projects that present novel visual experiences or assist under-served communities.
I contributed to the preproduction phase of a Parallel Plaid project. I worked primarily as a UI designer. I created UI wire-frames in Photoshop based on dialog with designers, and translated those into functional Experience Designer prototypes for reference and testing. The design was refined through several iterations, always improved by designer, engineer, and artist feedback.
We are developing ORE, a twin-stick top-down cooperative shooter. I produce concept drawings under the direction of two art leads and the vision holder for use by character and technical artists. I have been involved with team branding, character design, vehicle design, environments and UI, and anything else my team requires of me.
I work at the GApp lab, a game development studio / research lab. We partner with educational and medical professionals to solve problems and meet goals with game design techniques and technology. In 2017, I worked as an artist developing a mobile website to help prevent the incidence of depression in persons with spinal cord injuries and their partners. I am currently working as a producer on a new project.
